CoPal (Community Pal)
Adults are needed to be Steppin' Out's main point of contact to youth (over the age of 18) who are aging out of foster care. Steppin' Out, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists youth who are aging out of foster care. Each adult will meet with one youth on a weekly/biweekly basis, to provide emergency assistance, and mentoring in various life skills. Activities include trips to the grocery store, budgeting, job hunting, resume writing, and accessing community services, among others as needed.
Grant Writer
A grant writer is needed to look for, research, and apply for grants for Steppin' Out, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists youth who are aging out of foster care. Grants are needed to support existing and planned program activities. Good written communication skills, proficiency in research and the ability to work independently are desired qualities.
Event Planner
A self-motivated, creative and detailed-oriented individual is needed to spear-head fund-raising activities for Steppin' Out, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists youth who are aging out of foster care. Possible events include an annual dinner, and email solicitations.
Administrative Support
Self-motivated individual needed to support Steppin' Out, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists youth who are aging out of foster care. Duties include data-entry, filing, mailing, and organization on a computer.
